In 2004 Zeb_AFMP met up with a bunch of rappers at VUT(Vaal University Of Technology) as they held regular cyphers behind the school’s cafeteria and this is where it all began. As a rapper, at the time, he became actively involved in the “behind the caf” freestyle sessions and was later invited to feature in a mixtape called “project oz” produced by O.Z. from Kenya. The mixtape never got released due to studio and financial complications and this was where he decided to start learning how to make music on his own.
He got his first computer and started playing around with software and 6 months later he recorded his first array of songs with his family African Monopoly. The songs he recorded with his fam were convincing enough for his friends at Vaal Tech to start recording with him which lead to the first album by Brain 2Ma called "1st Brain Wave". This album caused a massive wave at campus and after several interviews and airplay at the campus radio station[VUT FM] he realized this was a talent he can’t let loose. He persevered and through all that he got to share stages with many great artists.
He also ram a hip hop movement called 'AFMP Sundays' in his township(Kagiso) for 3 strong years from 2008 till 2010
and recently started a producer battle league called 'HitMakers Beat Battles'
